Dear Rykelan,

These are the last photos we have together. The last photos where you were happy, alive, and thriving.

It’s incredibly hard getting to the end of the images of you.

The courts grated custody to your bio dad in March, and then we never saw you alive again.

But I will always remember hugging you tight before bed. Reading you stories. Loving you and missing you and contacting your bio dad trying to see you.

I wish there was more I could have done to keep you safe.

I miss you every single day.
